TREATING CUSTOMERS FAIRLY (TCF)
Treating customers fairly is central to the delivery of the Financial Services Authority’s retail regulatory agenda, which aims to ensure an efficient and effective market and thereby help consumers achieve a fair deal.
At Fehnert PLC we must meet the requirements of FSA Principle 6, that is, to pay due regard to the interests of our customers and treat them fairly. We need to demonstrate to the FSA that we are consistently delivering fair results to consumers and that the senior management at Fehnert PLC take responsibility for delivery of the consumer outcomes required by the FSA. We achieve this by dealing with customers fairly using products that meet their needs with clear information and advice suitable for their circumstances at the same time as ensuring that the product and service performs as expected without any unreasonable post sales barriers.
TCF is at the heart of our business. It is a fundamental part of the culture of our firm and is driven by Senior Management. It permeates through every tier of our business and is featured as an agenda item at Board, Management and Compliance meetings.
